This Saturday was a difficult day at the César Manrique airport, where the wind and haze caused several flights to be diverted to Fuerteventura.
According to air traffic controllers on their Twitter account, up to four planes coming from Bilbao, Düsseldorf, Nottingham and Gran Canaria could not land in Lanzarote.
For this Sunday, the island is on yellow alert for suspended dust, which could reduce visibility to 3,000 meters. As for the wind, it will blow from the moderate southeast with intervals of strong at noon, and with some occasional very strong gusts on the western slopes.

For this Monday, the Meteorological Agency maintains the yellow alert for haze. There will be intervals of high clouds tending to cloudy at noon with a low probability of occasional weak rains. Maximum temperatures will not change or slightly decrease and minimum temperatures may experience a slight increase.
Finally, the wind will blow from the moderate southeast with intervals of strong at noon, and with some occasional very strong gusts on the western slope during noon.
