The Cabildo of Lanzarote has arranged an extraordinary night bus service between Arrecife and Famara for this weekend, when the festivities are celebrated in La Caleta. This extension of service, as in previous years, will be in use on Saturday night and early Sunday to Monday morning. It should be noted that, due to the exceptional nature of the service and its night schedule, the established price per ticket (person and journey), which remains from previous years, is three euros.

On Saturday, the bus will depart at 9:00 p.m. from the Arrecife station, continue through Altavista towards Cuesta del Gallo, in Tahíche, cross El Jamonal, in the same town, and arrive at the César Manrique Foundation junction to board the town of Tahíche, Las Cabreras, Nazaret, the Teguise Town Hall, the Teguise Health Center and finally Caleta de Famara.

To return, the first bus will leave at 5:00 a.m. and the second at 6:00 a.m. from Caleta de Famara, go to the Teguise Health Center, Teguise Town Hall, Nazaret, Las Cabreras, Tahíche, César Manrique Foundation junction, El Jamonal and Cuesta del Gallo in Tahíche, Altavista and, finally, the Arrecife bus station.

On Sunday the route will be identical and the return times from Caleta de Famara to Arrecife will also be at 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.

The head of the Transport area, Joaquín Caraballo, has assured that in this way "we want to contribute to the responsible enjoyment of the festivities, safely, in addition to enabling more people to attend Famara this weekend." "The option of going by bus will allow them to have a good time, without restrictions, as well as minimizing the risk of suffering an accident," he indicated.

Going by bus will also avoid, according to Caraballo, "an excessive and dangerous traffic density on that road and the very high concentration of parked vehicles that usually occurs around this time in this quiet coastal town of Teguise is minimized."

The Transport area has also reported that it is finalizing the arrangements to make the extraordinary bus service available to citizens also for the Los Dolores festivities, which will be held in Mancha Blanca from September 13 to 16.
