The festivities will begin on Thursday in Puerto del Carmen. The first performance will take place at 8:30 p.m. on Avenida las Playas by the charanga Los Gruñones, the batucada Chimbay, the comparsa Los Timanfeiros and the ballet Ya tú sabes.
On Friday, the Grand Carnival Gala will take place at the same place and time as the previous day's performances. The Guaracheros and Sur Caliente troupes will liven up the event and the party will continue with the Gran Verbena featuring the Cuarta Potencia and Banda Nueva orchestras.
The Grand Parade of Puerto del Carmen will parade along Avenida de las Playas on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. and from 9:00 p.m. the all-night street party will be held with the Cuarta Potencia, Banda Nueva and Rika Banda orchestras.
The little ones will also have their place in these festivities with the Children's Carnival which will be held on Sunday from 6:00 p.m. in the Sociedad Unión Sur de Tías.
