This year the Carnival groups will have an aid of 27,189 euros authorized today Wednesday by the president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Inés
Rojas and the Minister of Economy and Finance, Luis Arráez, with the signing of the subsidy certificates in the Plenary Hall of the Cabildo.
Inés Rojas at the end of the act, declared that the Cabildo will remain "true to the commitments made with the society of the Island".
The popular Afilarmónica "Las Revoltosas" will receive 1,900 euros and the adult murgas will enjoy an aid of 1,300 euros. The children's murgas, batucadas and comparsas will have to share 650 euros, while the Federation of Carnival groups will be assigned the remaining 600 euros.
