The Teguise Civil Protection Volunteer Group attended, this Saturday, a course on "Emergency Care Techniques", taught by Benjamín Nieves, professor at the Canary Islands Security Academy. Specifically, more than twenty volunteers participated in this day.
This group of volunteers plays an important role in the popular market of the Villa, performing security tasks. In addition, these same volunteers participated in this TAU course, a few days before facing the collaboration of Civil Protection Teguise in the Ironman Lanzarote 2006.
The councilor responsible for Security of the municipality, Rita Hernández, insisted on the need to continue providing knowledge to the volunteers who continue to join Civil Protection of Teguise.
