The Cabildo of Lanzarote has enabled a special bus service for the San Bartolomé festivities. The vehicle will depart at 03:30 am this Wednesday and will travel the usual stops between the municipality and Arrecife.
"With these additional services, we seek to ensure that the population has alternatives to move safely and enjoy without scares the popular festivities that take place in the seven municipalities of Lanzarote," says the Minister of Transport of the first island corporation, Marcos Bergaz.
The service rate will be that corresponding to the application of the current traveler-kilometer rate for that line. The route of the line will be as follows: Casa Ajei, Calle César Manrique, General Hospital, Public Library and Arrecife Bus Station.
The transport company must provide a high-capacity passenger vehicle, thus guaranteeing safe mobility for attendees, and if necessary, must have more buses available.
Another of the conditions required by the Cabildo is that, due to the characteristics of the service, the City Council of San Bartolomé must have the presence of the Local Police at the exits, in order to guarantee order in the event of any incident that may occur, in addition to the mandatory use of the mask during the journey.
