Salvamar rescues three boats near the coast of Lanzarote

129 people were traveling in the three boats, including twelve women and one minor.

Maritime Rescue has rescued three new boats near the coasts of Lanzarote during the early hours of this Wednesday, according to reports from the Emergency Consortium.

In total, 129 people have been rescued, all of Maghreb origin, according to sources, who have specified that all of them disembarked at the Commercial dock around 07:50 hours.

Maritime Rescue has transferred its occupants to the Commercial dock of Arrecife, where they have been attended by the Red Cross.

In the first boat, 45 migrants were traveling, including 10 women and one minor, and in the other 84 migrants, two of them women.

According to CECOES, all were in good condition and only one man was transferred to Molina Orosa, although it was not serious.
