Maritime Rescue has rescued a new boat near Lanzarote this Tuesday morning.
According to the Emergency Consortium, 56 people of sub-Saharan origin were traveling on the boat, of which 44 were men, 10 women and two minors. In addition, they point out that one of the women is pregnant, so she has been transferred to the Molina Orosa hospital.
Salvamar has transferred them to the Commercial dock of Arrecife, where they have been assisted by the Red Cross.
This is the second boat that Salvamento has rescued so far this week, after the pneumatic boat that was intercepted in waters near Lanzarote with three immigrants on Monday.
