Maritime Rescue rescued a boat with 47 people near Lanzarote early this Friday morning, as reported by the Emergency Consortium.
There were 47 people on board the boat, 7 women and 15 children among them, all of Maghreb origin. They have been transferred to the Commercial dock where they have been attended by the Red Cross.
The Emergency Consortium has indicated that the people on board the boat were in "apparently good health".
With the arrival of this boat, there have been six boats that have arrived on the coasts of Lanzarote since Monday, October 17. It should be noted that two of them were finally diverted to the island of Fuerteventura.
