Several beaches on the island have yellow or red flags this Monday due to waves, as reported by the Security and Emergency Consortium.
Among the beaches where the red flag is flying are the four beaches of Puerto del Carmen (Playa Grande, Playa Chica, Los Pocillos and Matagorda), as well as Famara beach.
Likewise, the red flag has been raised on La Garita beach in Arrieta, where it is also warned that there are still jellyfish.
For its part, in Costa Teguise the yellow flag is flying in Las Cucharas, while the rest of the beaches in the municipality have a green flag.
