The living Nativity scene of Christmas in Tinajo is one of the most anticipated events by the public within the Christmas program of Lanzarote.
Finally, more than five hundred people have come this Sunday to the living Nativity scene and have enjoyed the show prepared by the Tinajero Consortium and enlivened by the Parranda El Golpito, in charge of putting the soundtrack to the story of the birth of Jesus.
The mayor of Tinajo, Jesús Machín, has thanked "the people who pass through the Nativity scene of Tinajo during Christmas, they number in the thousands every year. In particular, he thanked Luis and all the City Council workers for the good work, Soli for the script of the living Nativity scene, Julia Padrón Mesa for giving voice to the story of the birth of Jesus and all the people, from the youngest to the oldest, who make the staging possible, thank you for taking time out of your lives in this complicated time to rehearse and bring to the stage the story of Jesus for the enjoyment of the visitors of Tinajo".
Machín addressed the public present wishing them the best for the coming year, "I hope everyone has the best possible end of the year and has an unbeatable 2023, I wish you health and love, the rest will be achieved with effort and work, may you have a 2023 full of health, energy, good faith and good will", concluded the mayor of Tinajo.
The living Nativity scene together with the lighting of the Christmas lights of Tinajo have already become two of the main attractions of the Christmas season in Lanzarote, events that, year after year, improve and manage to attract the attention of more people.
