The celebration of the pilgrimage this Sunday has resulted in a lower turnout of pilgrims walking towards Dolores to make their offerings to the Virgin.
However, groups have been organized from various points on the island by the different town councils to make the pilgrimage to Mancha Blanca.
Around twelve noon, the pilgrimage started from the town of Tinajo, where all the pilgrims from different parts of the island gathered. It is estimated that around 1:30 p.m. the first pilgrims will arrive at the feet of the Virgin to venerate her and make all the offerings.
