The active cases of coronavirus have been reduced to 16 in Lanzarote, with a new patient discharge occurring this Sunday and no positive cases registered for the ninth consecutive day. Thus, the island remains with 84 accumulated cases.
The island now counts a total of 63 discharges since the beginning of the pandemic and five deaths. In the Molina Orosa Hospital there are five people admitted, two on the ward and three in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), while there are 11 people in home isolation.
This Sunday 24 samples were analyzed taken on the island, 23 of them from new patients, all of them giving negative results.
