The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) forecasts for this weekend in Lanzarote and La Graciosa the first heat episode of the summer that will be accompanied by haze and strong wind.
For Saturday, slightly cloudy or clear skies are expected, except for cloudy intervals in low areas of the north and west at the first and last hours, and intervals of medium clouds in the morning. In addition, there will be haze. As for temperatures, the minimum temperatures will experience little change, standing between 22 and 24 degrees, while the maximum temperatures will rise slightly, being moderate in inland areas where 32 degrees may be exceeded.
For its part, the north wind will blow moderate with intervals of strong, with a low probability of locally very strong gusts during the early morning in inland areas of the southern half, subsiding in the morning and intensifying again in the last hours in inland areas of the southern half with winds of between 60 and 70 kilometers per hour.
Regarding Sunday, the skies will be slightly cloudy or clear, although in the north there will be cloudy intervals at the first and last hour of the day. There will also be a possibility of haze. Temperatures will hardly change, although the maximums will decrease slightly. The minimums will be 24 and the maximums 30 degrees. The wind will blow moderately from the northwest with intervals of strong.
