The Lanzarote con Palestina collective has called on the island's population to the first rally of the year 2026, under the slogan The genocide continues. The gathering for solidarity and humanitarian pacifism will be this Saturday, January 31st, at 12:00 PM, in front of the Casa Amarilla in Arrecife.

The citizen entity, integrated into RESCOP, has denounced "78 years of colonization, occupation, apartheid, and genocide" by the State of Israel against the Palestinian people, as well as the impunity and international complicities that allow it.

"We reject the plan promoted by Trump and Israel because it is a colonial imposition that legitimizes annexation, ethnic cleansing, genocide, and the denial of Palestinian sovereignty," he stated

Murders, bombings, and blockade

According to critics, despite the alleged ceasefire, assassinations, bombings, the blockade of humanitarian aid, and the use of climatic conditions as a weapon of war continue in Gaza, particularly affecting children, "an intensification of violence aimed at the destruction of villages and the expulsion and ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people in the West Bank."They have also demanded from the Spanish government "greater involvement, that it not be complicit and truly activate the rupture of relations with Israel, both economic and military.""We will continue to mobilize and demand an end to the genocide and occupation, a comprehensive arms embargo on Israel, a total break in relations, international sanctions, and an end to the criminalization of solidarity with Palestine," they announced from Lanzarote con Palestina.
