Intercity buses extend their hours due to the Puerto del Carmen festivities

On Sundays, August 6 and 13, line 3 will provide service between 03:30 and 05:30, departing from the Costa Volcán stop. Line 234, which will also have its departure there, will pass at 04:30

The Cabildo of Lanzarote has announced the launch of "a special Interurban Public Transport service on the occasion of the Puerto del Carmen festivities", whose festivals will take place on the night of Saturday, August 5 and 12. An initiative that has been developed by the Corporation through the Department of Transport and Mobility, managed by the first vice president, José Juan Cruz.

The company awarded the provision "will proceed to extend the routes of two of the lines that circulate through the municipality of Tías,  234 and 3, on the morning of August 6 and 13", they have pointed out from the Cabildo. Both days line 234 (Interior of Tías) will provide service at 04:30 hours, having its departure at the Costa Volcán stop; while line 3 (Puerto del Carmen – Costa Teguise) will provide service between 3:30 and 05:30 hours and will also depart from the Costa Volcán stop.

The councilor and first vice president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote has invited citizens "to make responsible use of vehicles during one of the most crowded celebrations of the year, and to use public transport to ensure safety in travel".
