The Gran Hotel Atlantis Bahía Real, a 5-star Grand Luxury hotel located next to the Corralejo Dunes Natural Park, has won this new recognition, which rewards quality and care for the environment. It also represents recognition of the existence of sustainable principles, such as social responsibility, the conservation of cultural assets and the satisfaction of tourist expectations regarding the destination.
Proof of this are the different activities organised by the hotel with the community of Fuerteventura, including guided tours of the hotel complex, the sponsoring of the loggerhead turtle in Cofete, and trips to the corners of the entire island.
The Biosphere care certification is added to the multiple awards granted to the Gran Hotel Atlantis Bahía Real, such as the Award for the Best Hotel in Europe, Best SPA, Quality Award and other gastronomic awards.
