Lanzarote has added four positive cases of Covid in the last 24 hours, in which 36 discharges have also been registered. Thus, the number of active cases has been reduced to 66.

Of the active cases, six remain admitted to the Molina Orosa Hospital, two of them in the ICU and four on the ward. There are 60 people in home isolation.

This Monday only about 2,300 PCRs were performed in the Canary Islands compared to the more than 7,300 that were done on Saturday, which was the day that most tests were carried out in the archipelago, or the nearly 3,100 that were carried out on Sunday. In fact, it had been a month since such a low number of tests had been recorded in the Canary Islands.

Lanzarote has accumulated 1,157 cases of coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic, of which 1,082 have overcome the disease and nine have died.
