Five municipalities of Lanzarote, on alert for extreme temperatures

The Ministry of Health establishes a red alert for heat in San Bartolomé from this Wednesday until next Tuesday

The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands has extended the warnings for high temperatures in several municipalities of Lanzarote.

In particular, San Bartolomé is on red alert for extreme temperatures from this Wednesday until next Tuesday. In addition, Arrecife, Haría, Yaiza and Teguise are on yellow alert from next Sunday to Tuesday.

The objective of these warnings is to reduce the effects on people's health associated with excessive temperatures and to coordinate the institutions of the Archipelago.
