The arrival of a dinghy with ten people in La Graciosa was a false alarm. This has been confirmed to La Voz through the Security and Emergency Consortium, the Red Cross and the Government Delegation of Spain. No precarious boat has arrived on the island during noon this Monday. However, the warning from a sailboat that claimed to have spotted a barge arriving on the island with ten migrants is false.

This information has been confirmed after a search by agents of the Local Police and operators of the Lanzarote Fire Department, who found no trace of any inflatable boat or its members.

Likewise, Maritime Rescue has come to the rescue of a precarious vessel that is located three miles from Roque del Este. This rescue would be the seventh in Lanzarote. In this case, the Polimia has come to provide assistance. As La Voz has learned, it would not be the only vessel that is expected to be rescued this Monday afternoon.
