The original and novel Candlelight Concert, Homage to the Man of the Sea, was a resounding success with a massive audience. From the early hours of the afternoon, the early risers settled into the chairs and stands closest to the floating stage so as not to miss even the slightest detail of the novel spectacle.
The natural space offered by the Charco de San Ginés, illuminated only by the light of the candles, seeing from the shore how the small boats transported the musicians of the Classical Orchestra of Lanzarote to once placed on the floating stage to light up with two powerful cannons, was sublime, spectacular.
Once the entire stage was set up, the concert began with a composition by Vivaldi, after which the musician and timple player Benito Cabrera joined and together with the OCL performed folías, isa, polka de la guagua and his famous composition
