Daily Covid cases have risen to 22 in Lanzarote in the last day, a figure that is double that recorded the previous day. However, this Thursday 24 discharges have also been reported on the island, so active cases have dropped to 163.
Regarding the cumulative incidence, at seven days it has risen by just over one point, standing at 71.2 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, while at 14 days it has shot up to 118.7 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, increasing by more than twelve points.
The total number of accumulated cases in Lanzarote since the beginning of the pandemic is now 5,979, of which 50 died and 5,767 have overcome the disease.
With respect to the number of tests, in the last day 471 were carried out on the island by the Canarian Health Service, according to data from the Ministry of Health.
