The Morro la Elvira has been filled with magic, a miniature Arrecife, tradition and nostalgia. Since last night, the Municipal Nativity Scene is located in this busy area of El Charco de San Ginés.

The inauguration ceremony took place at 7:00 p.m. with the presence of the mayor of Arrecife, Eva de Anta, and a large part of the Municipal Corporation. The Municipal Nativity Scene, managed by the Festivities Area, had the collaboration of the Cultural Society Casa del Miedo this year, who together with the municipal workers have rescued part of the city's idiosyncrasy.

Dozens of residents of the island came to the capital to enjoy the Nativity Scene. "It is a portal with a lot of tradition, with typical houses. We wanted something simple that would highlight our salt flats and of course the Charco de San Ginés," said the Councilor for Festivities, David Duarte.

The Nativity Scene has been placed on the stone hill to give it an original look. Once inaugurated, the attendees were able to enjoy the performance of the Iris del Mar Choir, female voices that drew applause from the public.
