The vice president of the Lanzarote Tourist Business Federation (AETUR), Victoriano Elvira Guillén, has sent a letter to the mayor of Tías, José Juan Cruz Saavedra, in which he denounces the possible existence of "dangerous dogs" in the Casas Heddy area.
These animals, according to the letter, seriously endanger the personal integrity of citizens and clients who transit or reside in the area. In fact, the letter assures, "we have news that there have been attacks on people related to this establishment, in which clients with some type of disability are staying and, therefore, with a greater degree of defenselessness if possible".
Victoriano Elvira requests the attention of the security services of the Tías City Council, as it is a "case of serious threat to the safety of people".
In parallel, La Voz has learned that similar circumstances could be occurring on La Concha beach, in Playa Honda. A resident of the area has also warned of the presence of dangerous dogs that, in addition to putting the integrity of bathers and passers-by at risk, contribute to the degeneration of the cleanliness of the beach.
