Active cases drop again in Lanzarote, after adding two positives and seven discharges. In the last day, 109 PCR tests have been carried out on the island, one of the lowest figures in recent months

The active cases of Covid have been reduced again in the last day in Lanzarote, after adding two positives but also seven new discharges. Thus, the number stands this Friday at 56.

However, according to data from the Ministry of Health, only 109 PCR tests were performed on the island on Thursday. The figure is almost half of those performed on average in the previous week and less than a quarter of those that had been done in early October.

As for the total number of cases diagnosed since the beginning of the pandemic, it amounts to 1,327, of which 1,262 have already overcome the disease and nine have died.

Regarding the cases that remain active, 55 are in home isolation and only one remains admitted to the Molina Orosa Hospital.
