A new boat with 64 people rescued near Lanzarote

Among the occupants of the boat were 55 men, 7 women and 2 children

A new boat has been rescued at dawn near the coasts of Lanzarote. According to CECOES, there were 64 migrants on board, including 55 men, 7 women and 2 children.

Maritime Rescue has transferred them to the Commercial dock where they have been attended by the Red Cross. One of the women has been transferred to Molina Orosa for mild pathologies.

With this boat, there are already seven boats that have reached the coasts of Lanzarote this week, after the two boats rescued this Thursday with 90 people on board, another that was rescued on Tuesday morning with 65 people on board and the three boats rescued this Wednesday, with 170 people. In total, a total of 389 people have arrived in Lanzarote this week.
