A small boat arrived on its own means at around 00.12 hours this Tuesday at the beach of Charco del Palo, as reported by the Emergency Consortium.
There were 49 people traveling in the boat, including 46 men, 2 women and a minor, of sub-Saharan origin, all in apparent good health. Although three of them have had to be transferred to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital due to extreme fatigue, reports the Security and Emergency Consortium.
The means activated for the rescue have been the territorial patrols of the Civil Guard. In addition, the boat was detected by a resident citizen of the area, who was the one who visualized the boat arriving at the beach.
Since last weekend and the beginning of the week, there are already 277 people who have arrived in Lanzarote, recalling that during Saturday, Sunday and Monday several boats arrived on the island.
