Maritime Rescue has intercepted a boat near Lanzarote, according to the Emergency Consortium.
There were 45 people on board, including two women and a child, all of Maghrebi origin and in apparent good health.
They have been transferred to Puerto Naos where the Red Cross has assisted them. According to the NGO, no transfer to the Doctor Molina Orosa Hospital has been necessary.
