A boat located northeast of Lanzarote

About 43 migrants, all of sub-Saharan origin, could be traveling in the boat

The Salvamar Al Nair of Maritime Rescue rescued 43 people this morning east of Lanzarote who were sailing in a pneumatic boat with a motor and disembarked them in the island's capital.

This is an expedition made up of men of sub-Saharan origin, who were detected by the merchant Ikaria Angel about 102 kilometers east of Lanzarote.

The Salvamar Al Nair set off to meet them, and its crew began rescuing its occupants at 04:00 hours, and began disembarking them in the capital of Lanzarote at 07:50 hours, as reported this Monday to EFE sources from the public business entity.

Upon arrival on land, paramedics from the Canary Emergency Service verified the good health of these people.
