National Police agents have arrested J.A.N.F., 24 years old and with a police record, in Arrecife as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of injury. The victim was hit in the face, while on the ground, with a large stone.
The investigation began as a result of the complaint filed by a man, who reported that after leaving a nightlife establishment he had an argument with an individual, although "it didn't escalate." However, "as they continued walking down the street in the company of his girlfriend, they realized that this person was chasing them," the Police reported.
It was then, when turning to see what he wanted, that he "threw a stone at him that hit him in the side, causing him to fall to the ground." "At that moment, the individual took the opportunity to throw another large stone at him that hit him in the face, leaving him semi-conscious. When trying to get up, he approached him and gave him a strong kick in the face, leaving the place," the Police continues narrating.
The victim had to be assisted in a medical center for the injuries he presented, where they issued a medical report, which reflected the consequences of the various blows received.
"The police efforts made to clarify the facts resulted in the identification and subsequent arrest of the alleged perpetrator of the injuries," the Police adds. Once the corresponding police report was prepared, the detainee was sent to the competent Judicial Authority, which ordered his release with charges.
