Local Police officers from Tías arrested a woman named Gasmira P.L., a native of Arrecife, 27 years old, early this Wednesday, January 5, for an alleged crime of burglary.
The police were alerted that a woman had climbed the perimeter wall of the apartment complex and once inside, had forced a vending machine, using a hammer to access the coin box.
After the intervention of the agents, the detainee and the recovered objects were placed at the disposal of the Judicial Authority.
Other robberies
This arrest is in addition to those made on January 3, when three young people between 18 and 22 years old, natives of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Arrecife, were arrested in this same municipality, after allegedly stealing goods from inside a house worth more than 3,000 euros.
In this case, the events occurred on December 24, when the detainees allegedly entered a house and took several objects and appliances. Some of them were recovered at the time of their arrest.
