Firefighters from the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium have extinguished a vehicle fire on Jaime Balmes street, in the municipality of San Bartolomé. The incident occurred around 7:00 AM this Tuesday.
Alerted by the Local Police of San Bartolomé about a vehicle fire on this road, firefighters proceeded to the scene.Upon arrival, they observed how the fire affected a single vehicle
The Local Police had already used several multi-purpose powder extinguishers. Therefore, the firefighters immediately proceeded to complete the extinguishing using atomized water.
Once it was confirmed that the fire was completely extinguished and there was no risk of reignition, we informed the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) and returned to the station. The Local Police were present at the scene.
