Two young people, 21 and 24 years old, injured in an accident in Arrecife

Two young people have been injured with minor multiple injuries in the collision between two vehicles on Tinache street in Arrecife this Friday morning.

The accident occurred at 07.25 hours. Once the alert was received at the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands, emergency resources were transferred to the scene. As a result of the impact, the occupants of the vehicles were trapped inside, so the intervention of the firefighters was necessary to release them.

The SUC health personnel carried out the initial assistance to the injured, later transferring them to a hospital center. A 24-year-old boy, who at the initial moment of assistance presented minor multiple injuries, and a 21-year-old girl, who at the initial moment of assistance presented minor multiple injuries. Both have been transferred by ambulance to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital

The Local Police has been in charge of instructing the corresponding procedures.
