At 7:55 a.m. on Tuesday, a phone call was registered alerting the Local Police Headquarters of Teguise to the presence of two strangers in a house located on Calle Las Granjas. A neighbor witnessed these events, and was even able to specify the characteristics of the vehicle used by the alleged criminals in their hasty flight from the scene.
While a police patrol appeared at the house, two other units began searching the nearby roads to try to locate the black van reported by the witness. Finally, a few kilometers from Nazaret, in Tahíche, the car with its two occupants was intercepted. Both offered contradictory testimonies regarding what happened in the previous hours.
One of them, who responds to the initials G.B.P, is 37 years old, while the other young man, C.M.M., is 28. Both were arrested and placed at the disposal of the Benemérita, with this entity being in charge of processing the first proceedings after the arrest.
