Two individuals investigated for the theft of two hundred kilos of sea bass from the Playa Quemada cages

The Local Police of Arrecife is also investigating two other men for having acquired the fish to sell it later.

 The Local Police of Arrecife is investigating two individuals who were intercepted while fleeing in a pick-up type all-terrain vehicle, after selling two hundred kilos of sea bass that they had recently stolen from the Playa Quemada fish farm.

In the vehicle's box, an deflated inflatable boat, an outboard motor and other items used to remove the fish from inside the cages were located.

To the two people investigated for theft in the fish farm facilities, two other individuals are added who are being investigated for a crime of receiving stolen goods, after having acquired the merchandise with knowledge of its illicit origin for subsequent trade.

From the proceedings carried out, the Tías Civil Guard station was notified, where the representative of the fish farm filed a complaint for the theft and damage caused to the cages, a body that will continue with the investigation of the events.
