The Civil Guard has identified the alleged perpetrator of two theft crimes in a hotel complex in Yaiza, from where they stole two rental electric bicycles valued at 3,600 euros. The first crime took place on September 4, when M.G.B. went to the hotel to apply for a job and submit his curriculum vitae. Afterwards, according to the agents, he went to the outdoor parking lot, where the bicycles were, and managed to unhook two of them from their strap.
One of them suffered damage to the front axle and electrical wiring and was later found abandoned a few meters from the parking lot, in a nearby area next to some bushes, while the other managed to take it. A representative of the company that owns the bicycles reported the events to the Civil Guard, which then opened an investigation.

Once the investigations began, a second theft occurred just the next day, September 5. According to the agents, presumably the same man returned to the hotel and stole a second bicycle.
Three days later, the Civil Guard identified and located the alleged perpetrator of the events, who ended up "voluntarily handing over" the two bicycles to the agents, which were thus recovered and returned to their owner.
