Two crew members of a catamaran have been rescued after capsizing on Guacimeta beach in Playa Honda. The accident took place at 1:05 p.m. this Sunday.
Emerlan, the Emergency Consortium and Maritime Rescue have traveled to the scene.
According to Emerlan, once at the scene they board one of the crew members who remained on the boat trying to turn it over. The other crew member was on top of the firefighters' motorcycle that was adrift due to a fault in the motorcycle. Both have been rescued by Maritime Rescue and transferred to Marina Colon.

Emerlan staff was in charge of inverting the boat, whose maneuvers were complicated due to wind and sea conditions. After removing the sail and mast, it was achieved and towed to Guacimeta beach.
