Firefighters had to travel to two different points in Arrecife to extinguish two fires affecting cardboard containers.
Alerted by the CECOES around 11:50 in the morning, the Security and Emergency Consortium went to Blas Cabrera Tophan Street in the capital to extinguish the fire in a container.
However, upon arrival they found that the flames had already been extinguished by the workers in the area, affecting only the interior, an action that prevented the fire from spreading. Finally, the firefighters proceeded to apply foam to finish off the embers and avoid any possibility of reignition.
Barely an hour later, at 13:03, the troops received another warning of a second container on fire in Mazurca Street in Arrecife, so they went to the site to put out the fire with foam and foam. The container was partially affected by the flames and there was no major material damage to regret.
