Agents of the Local Police of Arrecife arrested this past Monday A.Q.G. and J.E.B.S., both natives of Colombia, 23 and 18 years old, respectively, who are accused of a crime of robbery with intimidation.
According to a police report, the arrest of both Colombian subjects occurred at 12:30 p.m. on Carlos III street in Arrecife, after a young woman reported being the victim of a robbery by the detainees.
According to the complainant, who apparently knew her two alleged aggressors, the two young men had tried to steal her bag by threatening her with a knife moments before the arrival of the police unit.
Both detainees were placed at the disposal of the court after the appropriate instruction of the police proceedings.
Stolen vehicle
In another action, officers of the Local Police of Arrecife located a Peugeot 307 with license plate 0982CRL, which had been reported stolen. The car had been abandoned on Crucero Baleares street in Arrecife, so the agents informed its owner, making the vehicle available to them.
