The National Police have arrested two people, aged 24 and 22, with police records, as alleged perpetrators of six robberies and thefts inside vehicles in Arrecife. They sold the stolen goods in a second-hand shop.
The agents began their investigation as a result of complaints filed by different injured parties. The police investigations made it possible to locate various items stolen from inside the reported vehicles in a second-hand shop in Arrecife. Therefore, the agents arrested the person who had sold them. The Police then seized more stolen objects at his home.
After his arrest, the agents were able to determine that the detainee had an accomplice. After he was also arrested, the agents found the rest of the reported effects, which he kept in his home.
Finally, the recovered articles were returned to their legitimate owners and the detainees, after the police report was prepared, were placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority, which ordered their release with charges.
The police intervention was carried out by agents assigned to the Judicial Police Group of the Arrecife Local Police Station.
