The Local Police of Tías arrested two people this Wednesday, accused of stealing the telephone booth in Mácher, which disappeared last Saturday night. Those arrested could have also committed various thefts in the collection and damage to other devices of these characteristics.
The police operation began after the agents of the Local Police of Tías found a telephone booth on the rural road in the Conil area, which had been stolen from the vicinity of the Mácher Sociocultural Center. They managed to take it away after cutting off the legs that anchored it to the ground and seizing the collection from the box.
After this discovery, the investigation began, which bore fruit late on Tuesday night, when the agents heard blows in the vicinity of the Tías Secondary Education Center. Upon arriving at this place, they observed that a telephone booth presented a series of damages.
Thus, after setting up a quick device, the agents located two young people who were hiding and were surprised trying to leave the place on foot.
The detainees are V.H.H, 27 years old, and J.L.M, 20 years old. Both are natives of Arrecife and are accused of an alleged crime of damage and attempted theft. The agents found among their belongings various tools that they used to dismantle the telephone booth, as well as various screws from the device.
