Two arrested for a crime of documentary falsification

The detainees were released pending summons by the corresponding Court in charge of the Guard in the town of Arrecife.

Agents of the Investigation Area of the Main Post of the Civil Guard of Tías, proceeded on September 26 to the arrest of 2 people with initials A.P.S.L. and E.G.M., of Spanish nationalities and residents of the municipalities of Yaiza and Arrecife, as alleged perpetrators of a crime of documentary falsification.

The investigations began as a result of the discovery, by the Local Police of Tías, of an abandoned motorcycle in the town of Macher, on the 6th of this month.

The agents of the Local Police, when verifying that the license plate of the motorcycle did not match the model of the same, and that it also presented the chassis number partially erased, informed the Civil Guard of these facts.

The agents of the Benemérita, after a series of investigations to clarify the event, proceeded to the arrest of the last owner of the motorcycle, a person with numerous police records and initials A.P.S.L., as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of documentary falsification.

Subsequently, and based on the investigation of the motorcycle and the statement of A.P.S.L., the Civil Guard arrested the same day, also as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of documentary falsification, E.G.M., a worker in a vehicle workshop.

The detainees were released pending summons by the corresponding Court in charge of the Guard in the town of Arrecife, where the corresponding diligences originated by the investigation were also delivered.
