Officers of the Local Police of Tías, in joint service with agents of the Investigation Area of the Civil Guard attached to the main post of this municipality, have arrested four people in recent days for different crimes of fraud, robbery with force and theft. The first arrest occurred on July 25, when J.G.H., of Spanish nationality, was accused of an alleged crime of fraud.
Apparently, the detainee tried to exchange eurocheques for an amount of 1,500 euros in a bank, with an office in the tourist town of Puerto del Carmen, as reported by the Local Police of Tías through a statement.
The second arrest took place on July 26, when J.R.P.C., of Spanish nationality, was accused of an alleged crime of theft after allegedly stealing a radiator and several cans of oil from a warehouse in the town of Mácher. The stolen objects have an approximate value of 600 euros.
That same day, the Local Police of Tías also arrested V.M.F., Spanish, as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of robbery with force. "He forced the window of a warehouse to steal various pieces of faucets," the agents indicate through this statement. All objects were recovered by the police.
Finally, on August 2, the agents arrested W.H., a native of Morocco, who they accuse of a crime of theft. According to the police statement, this woman allegedly stole a baby stroller and various accessories valued at 900 euros from an establishment open to the public. All these objects were also recovered.
All detainees were placed at the disposal of the Judicial Authority.
