Agents of the National Police of Arrecife have arrested three individuals accused of separate crimes of robbery inside vehicles after they were surprised when they tried to force two cars parked in the island's capital.

In the first of the cases, as explained in a police statement, the officers were commissioned by the 091 Room on La Inés street and there they surprised two subjects when they were trying to open one of the doors of a vehicle with a screwdriver.

The two detainees were brought to justice, being identified as Carlos F.L., a native of Hoxter (Germany), and Fernando G.F., a native of Busteliño (Ourense), who has up to 37 previous arrests, related to crimes against property, homicide, drug trafficking and judicial claims.

On the other hand, a neighbor reported to the Arrecife Police Station Office that he witnessed from a window of his house an attempted robbery inside his car. According to the complaint, the owner went down, notified the National Police and detained the alleged thief until the arrival of the agents, who arrested and made available to the Guard Court Pedro Jesús H.M., a native of Tinajo, arrested on 9 previous occasions for crimes against property, his last arrest having occurred at the end of October.
