National Police agents have arrested two men, 35 and 36 years old, with police records, as alleged perpetrators of a robbery with force and a third, 48 years old, for receiving stolen goods, after solving the theft of 27 laptops and 3,000 euros in cash from a training center in Arrecife.

In the early morning of February 24, the National Police became aware of a robbery committed at a training center in the capital of Lanzarote. According to the complainants, several individuals forcibly entered the facilities and stole 27 laptops and 3,000 euros in cash.

The police investigation allowed the full identification of two men, 35 and 36 years old, both with numerous police records for similar events, as the alleged perpetrators of the robbery.

The first of them was located and arrested at his home, while the second is already in prison serving a sentence since the beginning of March, after committing another robbery in which 50 solar panels were stolen from a facility in the capital.

The police investigations allowed the agents to locate several of the stolen computers in a property in Arrecife, which were seized and returned to their owners. The occupant of the property was also arrested as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of receiving stolen goods.

As a result of this investigation, the National Police agents have also been able to solve two other robberies with force, the first in a fruit shop and the second at the headquarters of a Non-Governmental Organization, as well as a theft at a driving school, in which the two detainees for robbery with force allegedly participated.

The corresponding police report was prepared and sent to the competent Judicial Authority.
