The strong wind has lifted one of the methacrylate sheets from the roof of the multi-purpose building of the Town Hall on La Luchada street in Tías. The incident took place at around 6:00 p.m. this Sunday. The Local Police alerted the firefighters who went to the scene.
Once on the scene, the firefighters verified that the sheet had come loose and was held on by only one side. "We proceeded to secure it with a rope to later remove it and leave it in a safe place," they reported from the Consortium. The local police will pass a report to the City Council.
