Agents of the Citizen Security and Intervention Unit (USCI) of the Local Police of Arrecife prevented a fight between two groups of young people in the early hours of last Friday to Saturday, who, apparently, had challenged each other in the Valterra park.
A neighbor alerted the Police to what was happening and, when the agents arrived, they seized two metal buckets with stones and pieces of paving stones, several boxes of glass bottles, a screwdriver, two knives and a board with tacks.
In addition to seizing all the material, the police identified the young people, who "had already fought days before on the esplanade of the Cabildo" and, according to the agents, had challenged each other again to hit each other again in this capital neighborhood.
"Brawl" on José Antonio Street
The day after intervening in this event, agents of the Citizen Security and Intervention Unit were alerted to another brawl on José Antonio Street, in a nightlife venue.
In this case, H.M, 22 years old and of Moroccan origin, was arrested. According to the statement of the owner of the establishment, this young man "fractured the security door of said premises, forcing it, when trying to enter the establishment by force, since he had been previously prohibited from entering".
After observing the damage to the security door, the agents proceeded to arrest him, after considering that said acts constituted a crime.
