The town of Mácher recognized the work that the announcer and presenter Francisco José Navarro has been doing for 50 years, choosing the big day of the festivities, the feast of San Pedro, for the recognition.

At 8:00 p.m. with the auditorium packed and presented by the journalist Rocío Garrigó, Francisco José was supported by family, authorities, residents of Mácher and other places who traveled to support the presenter.

The event began with the screening of a video that captured some of the many moments that Francisco José has shared for more than 30 years with the residents of Mácher, presenting some of the most anticipated numbers in the festivities, such as the plays starring the fans of Mácher, to which we must also add musical and humor performances, presentations of the heralds, etc.

In 2011, Francisco José Navarro had the honor of proclaiming the festivities in honor of San Pedro, sharing with everyone his experiences, a journey that many of those present that year were unaware of the presenter who one day, invited by Juana Saavedra to give him a hand, came to stay.

In the act, simple but very emotional, Francisco José listened attentively to the words that the mayor, José Juan Cruz, dedicated to him, addressing the presenter whom he considers one more of the town of Mácher for his dedication and availability. At the end of his speech, he presented him with a sculpture.

After the formal photos, the neighbors approached to personally congratulate Francisco José, who only uttered words of gratitude for the act of recognition for his 50 years on stage.
