The search operation for the 50-year-old fisherman who disappeared in Zoco de Inés near Pechiguera in Playa Blanca has resumed this Friday morning, March 31st, at 8:30 hours.
The NGO Emerlan has indicated that on Thursday, during the search operation, keys and a tip of the fishing rod were found that could belong to the missing person.
This is the third attempt to find the man who disappeared last Wednesday after approaching the area in the early morning to fish. It was his wife who, seeing that he was not arriving, went to the Civil Guard barracks at half past five in the morning to report his disappearance.
Search operation in which agents of the Local Police are participating, including the drone unit, Civil Guard, firefighters, Civil Protection, Emerlan Canine Unit, Maritime Rescue, the GES helicopter and Emerlan ground personnel.
Also the Special Group of Underwater Activities (GEAS divers) joined the search efforts from this Thursday when they moved from Tenerife first thing in the morning. This Friday they will continue with the aquatic and underwater search.
