National Police agents have arrested a 46-year-old man in Arrecife, with 20 police records, as the alleged perpetrator of a robbery with force in a bar. The arrested man broke the glass door of the establishment to gain access, stealing the cash register, which contained about 50 euros in coins.
The events unfolded in the early hours of the morning, when a patrol carrying out crime prevention work was commissioned to go to a bar in the capital of Lanzarote, where a robbery had apparently taken place.
The agents who went to the scene were able to observe that the glass door of access to the establishment was broken and the interior of the same was disturbed, missing the cash register. Interviewed with the owner of the bar, he told the police officers that inside the cash register there were about 50 euros in coins.
The police investigations allowed to identify the alleged perpetrator of the events, who about a month ago had committed another robbery with force in the same bar. The agents located and proceeded to arrest him, a 46-year-old man, with 20 police records, as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of robbery with force. After the corresponding police report was prepared, the detainee was placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority.
